The 5th International Islamic Monetary Economics and Finance Conference and Call for Papers (IIMEFC 2019)

The region’s premier institution, Bank Indonesia Institute, is pleased to host the inaugural international conference on the theme “Embracing Shariah Economics as a New Engine towards Better and Sustainable Inclusive Growth”. The conference will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia on the November 12-14, 2019.

Papers in all areas relating to the theme are welcomed. Specific topics of interest related, but not limited to:

Mainstreaming Islamic economic and finance as a New Engine Towards Better and Sustainable Inclusive Growth; The Role of Sharia Governance and Regulatory Framework in Embracing Islamic Economic and Finance as a New Engine Towards Better and Sustainable Inclusive Growth; Mainstreaming and Utilizing Islamic Social Economic and Finance to Promote Better and Sustainable Inclusive Growth; The Role of Islamic Social Finance (Zakat and/or Waqf) in Promoting Better and Sustainable Inclusive Growth; The Integration of Islamic Commercial and Social Finance to Promote Better and Sustainable Inclusive Growth; Holistic Financial Inclusion (Social and Financial Inclusions) through Integrated Islamic Commercial and Social Finance as the Strategy to Promote Better and Sustainable Inclusive Growth; Utilizing Shariah Compliant Digital Economy, e-Commerce, Fintech, Blockchain and Crowdfunding in Promoting Better and Sustainable Inclusive Growth; The Role of Islamic digital economy, Islamic E-commerce and Islamic Fintech in Promoting Better and Sustainable Inclusive Growth; The Creation of Halal Value Chains and/or Innovative Vehicles in Promoting Better and Sustainable Inclusive Growth; The role of halal life style in creating the halal value chains to Promote Better and Sustainable Inclusive Growth.
